Project Intent
Every New York City Park has a story, and every park-goer has a park that has profoundly impacted their life. To share these stories of our Parks that allow 8.6 million New Yorkers to engage in sport and movement, we embarked on a formal partnership with New York City’s Parks and Recs department to launch limited edition apparel and footwear available in New York City Nike stores.
We partnered with Joshua Woods to shoot campaign photography and commissioned 6 different NYC-based directors (Nicolas Heller, Christelle De Castro, Ashley Armitage, Yvonne Shirley, Anthony Prince, Ben Solomon) to capture a story of the importance of parks to them.
